THEY UNITED!

Today we studied how to find the solutions or where the points will meet. You can get a linear equation with a quadratic equation or a circle with a parabola or any combined equations.

Example:

Same thing like solving systems. You can solve by graphing, elimination and substitution.

Graphing - graph the equation and determine where the points intersected.(see solving systems)

Substitution - find one value then substitute it to the other equation.(see solving systems)

Elimination - solve for one variable by adding or subtracting the equation(see solving systems)

It's the same principle as solving systems of equations. You won't have a problem if you just follow the steps. ;) I didn't put any examples because it's just like repeating it. If you know how to solve systems of equations then this is just almost the same.
