FUNctions... >.>

Hey Guys This is Vince :). and I'll be scribing this weekend.

Hope you guys had a fun long weekend!

Last Friday, We had an introduction to Functions.

• Function - is a relation between two variables with each x-value having only 1 y-value.

• and a Relation - is a set of ordered pair. e.g: (x,y) , (1,2), (2,3) etc..

Remember: That for a relation to be a function. the X-Value in a set of relation MUST be different

We also learned the Operation of Functions: Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, Dividing.

Just look at the Animation, i've made for it on how to do it. You simply add, subtract, multiply and divide the two functions together. then if x has a value. you simply subtitute it to the x and fine what the value of the function is.
