hey guys, its Patrick. On friday, our class learned how to graph quadratic functions. We made a
table of values for our X and Y axis. We learned how to plug in our A value into a function. We also learned that if our A value is greater than 1, the shape of our function will be skinny, and if the value is below 1, the shape will be fatter. For the examples that we had to do in our booklet, we had to know the Vertex, axis of symmetry, direction of opening, minimum/maximum value, and the shape of our function.
One example of a function that we had to graph was:
We got assigned two assignments for homework. One of the assignments which was labeled "Quadratic Functions Assignment 1" is due on Monday, and one is labeled "Graphing Quadratic Functions" which is due on Tuesday.
